Charlie Luh
Charlie Luh is a founding partner of Luh & Associates. Charlie has extensive experience and expertise in construction defect litigation, general liability defense, commercial collections, bankruptcy, and complex class‑action lawsuits. Charlie has represented subcontractors on over 150 litigated matters and has participated in one of the first construction defect trials in Clark County, Nevada, which resulted in a favorable defense verdict. Due to his success as defense counsel, he has been asked to serve as personal counsel to a number of Las Vegas subcontractors.
Charlie has also lectured before numerous bar associations and trade organizations on bankruptcy and the effective use of new technologies in the practice of the law. Charlie has also been ranked by his peers in the Nevada Business Journal as one of Nevada’s Legal Elite. Charlie has attained an AV rating (5.0 out of 5.0), the highest rating bestowed by Martindale Hubbell®.
Charlie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from The Johns Hopkins University in 1993, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Iowa College of Law, where he graduated with distinction. After law school, Charlie served as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Lee M. Jackwig, United States Bankruptcy Court, Southern District of Iowa. He is licensed in both Nevada and California.
David Gordon
David was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. He attended Cornell University where he received his Bachelors of Science degree in Industrial and Labor Relations. Shortly thereafter, he attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas’ William S. Boyd School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate degree. While in law school, David externed at the National Labor Relations Board and served as Vice President of the Sports and Entertainment Law Association.
David enjoys spending time with his friends and family, playing softball, and enjoying the Las Vegas sunshine.
David is licensed to practice law in Nevada and New York.
Diane Lee
Diane graduated Cum Laude from the University of California, San Diego, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication in 1994. She then received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Iowa College of Law. While attending law school, Diane held several leadership positions including Managing Editor of the Iowa Law Review.
While Diane was earning her law degree, she spent a summer working as a law clerk for Judge Stephen C. Gerard II of Iowa District Court. During law school, Diane also served as a student legal intern in the University of Iowa College of Law Legal Clinic, primarily representing clients incarcerated in the Iowa prison system.
Diane is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and is licensed to practice law in California and Nevada.
Craig Slater
Craig is currently Of Counsel to Luh & Associates. Prior to joining the firm, Craig spent nine years at another firm where he was a partner for approximately six years. Craig has spent a majority of his practice devoted to construction defect defense. Craig also represents a number of corporate clients in all aspects of their business practice and handles personal injury matters.
Craig obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nevada in 1997. Thereafter Craig obtained a Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver. During law school, Craig was an editor of the University of Denver International Law Journal.
Craig is licensed to practice law in Nevada.
